What's For Dinner?

Ever since I've been married, I've kept a supply of fixings for a green salad in the fridge.

And over the years, some sort of green salad has ususally been on our dinner menu.

Tonight this is what we had for dinner:

Nothing finer than a tuna melt, a big glass of ice cold milk and a fresh green salad.

What did you have?

Wow, that's a really old salad! 28 years in the fridge?! Amazing! (wink wink)

Actually a tuna melt and salad sounds really good right now. We had noodles, sauce, salad and bread last night.

PS. Want some screechy whiney children? I've got some to ship to you! I'm going crazy.

I am so tired of cooking and all my "standby" recipes. It's time to branch out. I wish my kids would gobble down salad as eagerly as they would hamburgers.

And congrats on the engagement. How exciting! You are an expert at weddings now, right?

It's 3:44 and I haven't had lunch yet. A tuna melt and salad would be absolutely perfect right now!
