Mothers

Four generations of mothers in my family...my oldest sister (of course she wasn't a mother then, but she is now), my mother, my grandmother and my great grandmother.

And me as a new mother holding my one week old baby (with my brother)
So to honor my mother...

I will plant these flowers by her front door

so she can be greeted with a bit of joy

whenever she comes and goes.
